Aura 6.3.15 Beta Release Notes

 Aura version 6.3.15 is a beta version release that mainly consist of bug fixes from previous betas, however, there are a few new features and reports that have been included with this release. Three new reports have been added in, and there are several improvements to the Report Viewer and Scheduler programs.

 General

Fixed

  • Fixed issue with TM-T70 serial printers where the print buffer would overflow on large orders. The system now pauses on long slips, which also fixed the printing issue with long slips on "Extended Production Slip" setting enabled.
  • Any errors requesting the user to call the support line now displays the new Helpdesk number.

Improved

  • Renamed the setting "Use Trading Day for Royalty Report" to "Use Trading Day for Sales Reports".
  • Separated invoice payment information into a new database table called "InvoicesPayment".

BackOffice

  • Fixed issue that occurred when all access permissions were granted, controls to deny any became inactive.
  • Pasting recipes for EatIn/Out now functions correctly.
  • Fixed Access Violation error that would sometime occur when loading menu data.
  • Fixed VAT Rate error that occured on open after upgrading from version 6.3.9.0.
  • Fixed Access Permission To Open Till For Inactive Shift which was previously dead.
  • Fixed error that occurs when trying to reprint a past invoice from Find Invoices section.

Improved

  • Increased length of Customer Email Address Field from 30 to 75 characters.

Report Viewer and Scheduler

New

  • If the "Use Stock Take Times" option is set, then the opening and closing stock take times are now shown in the Stock Variance and Gross Profit reports.
  • Added Items Sales by Take Away report.
  • Added Transaction Variance by Week Day report.
  • Added Activity Report by Activity Filter.
  • Updated the report scheduler email settings to accommodate account changes.

Fixed

  • Fixed issue where delivery orders with discounts and/or overrings showed negative automatic charges on reports
  • The Stock on Hand report now correctly reads that it's running for all locations instead of just the first location when run as Consolidated
  • Fixed label headers on the Gross Profit reports, which were cutting off the "Service Charge" header.
  • Fixed issue where the Sales Effectiveness report would show blank data if "Use Trading Day on Sales Reports" is set.
  • Fixed Sales reports issues where they would reflect midnight-to-midnight values on a 24hour trading setup.
  • Fixed issue with the Discount Summary report not always displaying the same information as the Discount Detailed.
  • Fixed problem where the Average Turnover by Table report wouldn't display information if the current day only was selected.
  • Employee Cashup report now correctly calculates wages for the driver and matches up with the cashup.
  • Fixed issue where the Driver Delivery Report by Shift and by Date don't show the same figures on some datasets.
  • The Product Sales by Cashier report now displays the correct activity prompt when run.
  • Fixed calculation error in the "Value Contribution Total Column" for the Item Sales by Category reports.
  • Report Scheduler now correctly deletes the generated files if they are successfully emailed.
  • Fixed error where Report Scheduler reported success on failed emails.
  • The application no longer freezes when closed.

Improved

  • Added "Show Price Changes" option to the Item Sales per Category per Till ID report.
  • Added Category Totals to Daily Sales Summary By Category report.
  • Daily Sales Summary By Category report now groups categories by VAT rate.
  • Added Item Code and size fields to Daily Sales Summary By Category report.
  • Added subtotals for items that Service Tax applies to Daily Sales Summary By Category report.
  • The Royalty reports now use the Trade Until time if "Use Trading Day on Sales Reports" is set.
  • The "No Stock Take" message box has been replaced with a message on the report itself. This allows
  • Report Scheduler to continue running schedules without being stopped by the popup.
  • The Commission by Menu Item report now no longer deducts commissions for Late Delivery flagged
  • invoices. Instead they are set to 0 value.
  • The Summary reports have now all been adjusted to use the Trade Until time if "Use Trading Day on Sales Reports" is set.
  • The Employee Wages report now includes all manually captured wages in Cashup.
  • Added "Deleted LineItems" field to the Shop Cashup reports which displays the value of items deleted from saved invoices.
  • Report Scheduler now outputs log files to folders in the Aura directory for troubleshooting purposes.
  • The Orders by Area report now shows subtotals by Grid Reference.
  • Added Daily and Grand totals to the Expense Payout Detailed report.
  • When "Hide Details" is set on the New Customers report, each customer now shows directly after the other, instead of each on a new page.
  • Added a count of Items to the category header of the Menu Items report.
  • Theoretical Stock Sales report now generates its own access description.
  • The Gross Profit report now displays a header indicating if the calculation method used is Fixed or FIFO.
  • The Average Sales per Head report now displays the Table's default headcount if no headcount is specified.
  • The Complete Cashup Summary, Shop Cashup Summary and Till Cashup Summary reports now include an "Other Payment Types" field to accommodate new payment types.
  • Added the option to display employees on spearate pages to the Time and Attendance report.

Invoicing

Fixed

  • Fixed issue where the total calculation on the invoice screen did not refresh correctly if rounding was set.
  • Cheque payments now correctly reduce the tender amount on the payment screen.
  • Changing item quantity is now limited to only 3 decimal places.
  • Cashups now refresh the over/under quantities correctly.
  • Fixed Access Violation Error that appeared when processing Nomad refunds.
  • Converting orders to Collect no longer causes them to disappear from the screen.
  • Fixed display error on PD2100 model Pole Displays when change was meant to be displayed.
  • Auto Apply discounts are now applying once correctly instead of twice.
  • Fixed error that would occur if multiple items were selected and Half-Half was applied.

Improved

  • Introduced "Abstract Payment Logic" to facilitate adding additional payment methods in future.

Kitchen Items

New

  • New setting Print Kitchen Slip to allow for printing of production slips after completing orders.

Improved

  • Kitchen items now allows for independent completing of orders in multiple instances, making management of multiple kitchen monitors easier.

Fixed

  • Fixed issue where Kitchen Items no longer prompted to print labels.

 DB Optimiser

Fixed

  • Fixed issues with shrinking the database.

Imaging

New

  • New setting to show transaction details.
  • New setting to set width of Transaction Details.
  • New setting to determine whether or not to display the total in the Transaction Details.

 Fixed

  • Fixed an apparently random crashing issue.
  • Imaging no longer cuts of the denomination of large value orders.
  • Imaging is now refreshing invoice notes correctly.
  • Fixed settings Display Price while Scrolling and Display Item Details, which are no longer always on.
  • The invoice total is no longer cuts off after 16 items are rung up.
  • The Total no longer cuts off on the left side on HK860 displays.
  • Imaging now refreshes deleted items.
  • Now correctly returns to full screen after order details are saved.
  • Fixed issue where the first lineitem of the first order would be displayed as [...].
